Petrolina

The city of Petrolina is located 722 km from Recife, in the extreme west of the State of Pernambuco, on the banks of the São Francisco River, in the mesoregion called São Francisco Pernambucano. Petrolina is connected to the city of Juazeiro da Bahia via the Presidente Dutra Bridge. The field studies carried out in the city covered the Center neighborhood and some main access roads to the city, where numerous commercial establishments are located.
