The town of Gravatá is located 85 km from Recife, on the Borborema Plains, in the mesoregion called Agreste Pernambucano and the microregion of Vale do Ipojuca. The region is famous for its furniture and handicraft makers. In the field studies, we walked along several streets in the center of town and around its urban perimeter along the highway BR-232 in order to take photographs.
