Cursive
Cursives have the characteristics of stroke and construction similar to handwritten letters, such as the continuous rhythm and connections between letters. This classification was established by Finizola (2010) during the survey Typographical Panorama of Vernacular Lettering: a case study in the city of Recife. The categories are fluid, and the same sign may present characteristics of more than one style.
