The painter Severino Pereira dos Santos – Freq – used to work in the Guararapes district in Caruaru-PE. At his commercial point set on the sidewalk, he offered signs with a variety of contents that could be immediately customized for the customer. He worked for about 60 years as a sign painter and was the master of the mud flap painter Marcos, who worked in the same region.
